New system
Hi,
Im looking at getting an entry level system that comprises of an amp
and a 5.1 speaker combo. Speakers must be pretty small. I prefer to buy
stuff from Richers as i have had good service from them in the past,
but other recommedations are greatfully received.
Ive got my eye on the Tannoy fx5.1 speaker set and the pioneer VSX515
receiver.
Is this a good combination? Its at the top of my budget of £400.
Ive also looked at the Eltax Avantgarde set, which would give me
another 50 quid to spend on the receiver (maybe the Pioneer VSXC502 or
the Cambridge Audio AZUR 540R).
I will be connecting my Sony DVD player, sky plus (and possibly a games
console and pc in the future) to the unit, as well as using it for
playing cds (through the dvd player). I know for audio, this isnt the
best option, but i might upgrade the front speakers when i have more
room.
Wouldnt mind buying on ebay if its worth it also.
Many thanks for any help
Mark
