Considering getting a Panasonic TX-32LXD52

I am considering getting a Panasonic TX-32LXD52 as the couple I have
seen on demo seem to have a realy good picture on TV and DVD plus a
stunning HD picture (from a recording).

Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about this set.

Is it the same as the Panasonic TX-32LXD50 but with the HD input.

Are there any other 32" LCD TV's I should consider in the region of
£1000 to £1400 and if so how are they better please

I have a Panasonic TX32LXD500 which, at the time I bought it last summer,
seemed to be the successor for the TX32LXD50. Looking at the specs the
TX32LXD32 looks VERY similar to the 500 but without the SD-card slot.
There are probably other differences as the 52 looks to be about
£300 cheaper!

If you want to use the set with a programmable remote control (Harmony,
Pronto etc) you should be aware that its ON/OFF and AV channel selection
controls are a nightmare.

I would suggest looking at a Sony Bravia KDL-V32A12U before deciding;
arguably better picture (certainly more vibrant colours) and a dream to
control via a programmable remote.

Both are pretty damn good though!
