O/T URGENT FOOD WARNING ISSUED

URGENT FOOD WARNING ISSUED
The Food Standards Agency has issued an urgent warning after a potentially
cancer-causing dye was discovered in more than 350 widely-eaten food
products.......

They are listed on the site...http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/

Oh dear...

Two quick things:

- if anyone has problems downloading this list from a media or government site,
just use Google and download the cached version. The following URL is unlikely to
get overloaded:

http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache...dani/sudan_one

(if this gets broken into two lines, you may need to cut and paste it into a
browser in two bits)

- I wonder if the UK media are going to portray this in anti-Chinese terms, as a
story about 'yellow peril'? It's possible.

Apparently the list may grow....as the 359 listed is just the tip of the
iceberg. While we are on the topic of poison/carcinogens being put into
food - why haven't they banned aspartame (the shite they replace sugar
with - used in piss like diet coke and other 'sugar free' crap) yet?
