Roger Scruton - hypocrite
Roger Scruton, the right-wing foxhunting *removed**removed**removed**removed*wit who offered his
services to place opinion pieces in the newspapers to help tobacco
bosses murder people with cancer, said that he and his fellow foxhunters
will ride out to exercise the hounds and if the hounds chase a fox he'll
call 'stop, stop!'. He must think he's so clever to take the piss in
such a way. He's stopped going on about how he will openly defy the ban,
and how he recognises that "the consequence of such defiance can only be
the serious risk of certain criminal conviction, and possible
imprisonment." (Quote from his 'Hunting Declaration').
One word from the in$urance companie$ and 'queen and country' central
command, and he wimps out!
Cf. Niall Ferguson, the 'royalist' 'historian' who said the
blood-drenched imperialist recolonisation of Iraq should be
hypocritical. As if anyone without shit for brains thought
American-State-backed 'democracy' was ever anything else!
Bourgeois social thought has been dead for 200 years. Boil it down and
it always resolves to 'we've got power, and you're just scum'[*].
Note
(*) More exactly, it gets to the twin ideas of 'the poor smell bad' and
'the poor shag like rabbits', but I digress.

rest of your frigid life." (Mick Travis, 'If...', 1968)

The more these people who are apparently unable to enjoy themselves
without inflicting fear and death on some animal, behave like this, the more
they will expose themselves as being the truly disgusting people that they
are.

More or less disgusting that those members of the Labour Party who thought
it would be cool to butcher a hundred thousand Iraqi civilians?

Mass murder which has been supported by the other parties. Which party
has called for British soldiers to refuse to take part in the war
effort, to refuse to take part in criminal acts of invasion, occupation,
murder, capture, and torture in either Afghanistan or Iraq? When a party
does that, I'll believe it's against the war.
